What a HEADACHE

I usually wake up every morning with a headache. It's been going on for years. I have just dealt with it as a part of life, but this month has been different. Mike & I were at the Downtown Arts & Farmers Market the first Sat. of the month & out of nowhere I suddenly couldn't see! Bright lights blocked my vision & I went down quick. It happened almost a year to the day of the migraine I had for the first time last year. Then, again, this past weekend it happened to me again. We were shopping at Wal-Mart on Saturday. Suddenly I couldn't see the labels anymore! I got so scared because this time I knew what was coming. I decided this required medical attention. I went to the doctor yestereday. He told me that ALL of my headaches were migraines & that something just triggered the full blown ones (I'VE BEEN STRESSED OUT OF MY MIND). He told me he could make them go away. He didn't seem interested in reducing the cause of them, but just getting rid of them. He gave me lots of pills. We'll see what happens I guess. I guess it'll be my job to get rid of the triggers.

It's a brand new day!

It's my last day at the bankruptcy law firm. I've been here a year. I feel like I've done a lot of positive things for this place. It's actually a functioning office now.

Now, it's time for a new adventure. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I always wonder how I'll fit in at a new place. I wonder how the people will be. I'll be working with a lot of females and that usually spells trouble. Not always though. These girls seem very cool and down to earth. I definitely got a good vibe off of everyone and the work environment seems relaxed, yet professional. I get to wear JEANS to work!!! That may well be the most exciting part of it!!! At least I won't be as isolated as I have been this past year at this place!
